Understand What God Has Done for Us

We are all sinners because we have broken the laws of God

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

God is Righteous and Must Punish Our Sins

God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ (Romans 2:16).

It is impossible for us to be good enough to be delivered from our sins

We are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6).

Because God loved us, He sent His Son Jesus to die for us while we were still in sin

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

Jesus was without sin, yet He died for our sins because He loves us

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends (John 15:12-13).

Jesus is the only way to God

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).

Believe, Repent, and Follow

Believe Jesus is the Son of the Living God who died for your sins

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:12).

Repent

Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:14-15).

To repent means to turn away from your sins

Surrender Your Life to Jesus and Follow Him

"Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me" (Mark 8:34).

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

To surrender your life and follow Jesus means that you no longer live for yourself, but for God. You freely give your life to His Kingdom and His Glory out of love for Jesus. You exchange your ambitions for the purposes of God.

Take the First Steps of Obedience

Publicly Confess Your Faith

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven (Matthew 10:32-33).

Follow the Lord in Baptism

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. (Acts 2:41).
